The worst thing to do then is to make chaotic changes in production. First we stop further changes, make a backup, read the logs and find the cause. Only then do we fix, test the functions and decide whether a repair is enough or a modernisation or rebuild is needed.

Website repair: frequently asked questions
How much does website repair cost?
It depends on the cause and the state of the site. After diagnosis we give the scope and price of the repair before work starts. The free online audit shows many problems immediately.
How much does a website rebuild cost?
A rebuild costs more than modernisation, so we first check whether the current foundation can be kept. We give the price after the audit, split into stages.
What should I do when a WordPress form does not send emails?
First check whether the message lands in spam and whether the form sends from an address in your domain. Then check sending logs and SMTP configuration. Details are in the contact form guide.
Will migrating to another server lower my Google rankings?
With a correct 301 redirect map, URLs kept where possible and the sitemap submitted, the risk is small. Short fluctuations are normal.
Why do emails from my domain go to spam?
Most often SPF, DKIM or DMARC is missing or wrong, or the form sends from a server the domain does not allow. You can check MX, SPF and DMARC records first in the free Mail Domain Doctor.
Will you repair a website you did not build?
Yes. Most repairs concern websites built by others. We start with a backup and diagnosis so we do not make things worse.
What if I have lost contact with the previous developer?
Access to the hosting and the domain is enough. If you do not have it, we first help you recover access from the hosting provider or domain registrar, and only then diagnose the website itself.
Will the website be offline during the repair?
We test changes on a copy and apply them to the live site in an agreed time window. Before bigger work we back up files and the database so we can roll back if something goes wrong.
